Ingredients

Scale

For the Biscuit Bites:

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count, regular size)

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

For the Cinnamon Sugar Coating:

  • ½ cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Optional Vanilla Glaze:

  • ½ cup powdered sugar

  • 12 tbsp milk

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with nonstick spray.

Step 2: Cut the Biscuits
Open the can of biscuits and separate them.
Cut each biscuit into quarters using a sharp knife or clean kitchen scissors.
You should have 32 pieces total.

Step 3: Coat the Dough
Melt the butter in a small bowl.
In a separate bowl, mix the cinnamon and sugar together.
Dip each biscuit piece in the melted butter, then roll it in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.

Step 4: Arrange & Bake
Place the coated pieces evenly on your prepared baking sheet, making sure they don’t touch.
Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.

Step 5: Optional Glaze
While the bites are baking, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
Drizzle the glaze over the warm biscuit bites once they’re out of the oven or serve it as a dip on the side.

Step 6: Serve & Enjoy
Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm for the ultimate soft, gooey texture.

Notes

Use Standard Biscuit Dough – Avoid flaky layers for best texture.
Add a Crunch – Sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts over the top before baking.
Don’t Overcrowd – Give each bite space to bake evenly and get crisp edges.
Air Fryer Friendly – Air fry at 350°F for 6–8 minutes for a crispier result.
Make Mini Monkey Bites – Bake in a muffin tin for single-serve monkey bread-style portions.
