Ingredients
- Eggs (3 large) – The base for a fluffy omelette.
- Fresh Spinach (1 cup, chopped) – Packed with nutrients.
- Cheese (¼ cup, shredded, any type) – Cheddar, mozzarella, or feta work well.
- Milk (1 tbsp, optional) – Makes the eggs extra fluffy.
- Butter or Olive Oil (1 tbsp) – For cooking.
- Salt & Black Pepper (to taste) – Enhances flavor.
- Garlic Powder (¼ tsp, optional) – Adds depth to the taste.
Instructions
1. Whisk the Eggs
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk (if using), salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until well combined.
2. Sauté the Spinach
Heat butter or olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped spinach and sauté for about 1–2 minutes until wilted. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
3. Cook the Omelette
Reduce heat to low and pour the egg mixture into the skillet. Let it cook undisturbed for 1–2 minutes until the edges start to set.
4. Add Spinach & Cheese
Sprinkle the sautéed spinach and shredded cheese evenly over one half of the omelette.
5. Fold & Finish Cooking
Using a spatula, carefully fold the omelette in half. Cook for another 1–2 minutes until the cheese is melted and the eggs are fully set.
6. Serve & Enjoy!
Slide the omelette onto a plate and serve warm. Enjoy with toast, avocado, or a side of fresh fruit.
