Ingredients

Scale

For the Steak:

  • 2 boneless ribeye or sirloin steaks (1-inch thick)

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 2 cloves garlic, smashed

  • Fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)

For the Shrimp & Lobster Sauce:

  • ½ lb raw shrimp (peeled & deveined)

  • ½ cup cooked lobster meat (claw or tail, chopped)

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • ½ cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)

  • ¾ cup heavy cream

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

  • Optional: pinch of cayenne or chili flakes for heat

Instructions

Step 1: Sear the Steak

Pat steaks dry and season generously with salt and pepper. Heat oil in a skillet over high heat. Add steaks and sear 3–4 minutes per side (for medium-rare), adding butter, garlic, and herbs during the last minute to baste.

Remove from pan and let rest.

Step 2: Sauté the Shrimp

In the same pan, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook 1–2 minutes per side, until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.

Step 3: Make the Lobster Cream Sauce

Lower heat and add garlic to the pan. Sauté 30 seconds, then deglaze with white wine. Let it reduce by half.

Add cream, paprika, Parmesan, and lobster. Simmer 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened. Season to taste.

Return shrimp to the sauce and stir to coat.

Step 4: Assemble & Serve

Plate your rested steak, then spoon shrimp and lobster cream sauce generously over the top. Garnish with parsley and an extra sprinkle of Parmesan.

Serve hot with roasted veggies, mashed potatoes, or a warm baguette to soak up the sauce.

Notes

Rest Your Steak – Let it rest 5–10 minutes before slicing to keep it juicy.

Use Good-Quality Seafood – Fresh or frozen lobster meat (thawed) works beautifully.

Don’t Overcook Shrimp – They cook fast! Keep them tender by pulling them out as soon as they’re opaque.

Add Heat If Desired – A touch of cayenne or crushed red pepper adds a spicy edge.
